You sign up to be a FeedaPALOOZA sponsor and create a sponsor page. Your sponsor page describes your blog and offers some free gift for signing up for either your RSS feed or email list.

Between May 1st and May 15th dozens of bloggers–even some of the top name bloggers–will tell their readers about FeedaPALOOZA. Those readers will visit this site and be prompted to visit your sponsor page. If they like what you have to offer, they’ll sign up to your RSS feed or email list.

Because there will be tens of thousands of people visiting, it’s likely you will receive hundreds (if not thousands) of new RSS or email subscribers by May 15th.

What free gift can I offer?

You can offer any free gift you like. You can offer a free eBook that you have written or have reprint rights to, you can offer free advertising on your blog (a great way to get them to buy advertising later), you can offer then just about anything you want as long as it is free (and legal!)

What if I don’t have something to offer?

For one of the blogs I own, I don’t have any product or ebook I can offer already created. So, for this promotion, I am just putting together a compilation of my top posts. You can do the same. You can also offer someone else’s book (provided they give you permission!)

6. Do some pre-promotion for FeedaPALOOZA on your blog before Thursday, May 1st (we even have sample posts and graphics you can use)
7. Remind your readers to continue getting new stuff DURING the promotion from May 1st through May 15th
8. Finally: Enjoy your new subscribers!
