I’m Mark Wilson and when I was starting out online I was full of enthusiasm and hope. I created a few sites and waited for the visitors to come. And waited… And waited.

So obvious really. I got to work and within a few short weeks my traffic increased massively due to the backlinks I was creating from blog comments, forum comments, Social Bookmarking, comments on Squidoo Lenses and links from my own lenses.
To get to that stage I’d bought a pile of junk - my hard drive was overloaded with worthless bonuses I’d never looked at and I’d grown really tired of the over-hyped sales messages.
I became The AntiHype!
I created a blog a very short while ago to prove how quickly I could get all the top spots in Google Searches and to help people starting out avoid the pitfalls and show that it is not necessary to have a massive budget to succeed online.
Guru Fodder is my blog where I highlight the hype to avoid, the ridiculous claims and unscrupulous activities of some of the Bad Gurus (some say it is incredibly funny although there is a serious message!)
