Holly Mann - Well, I started working online in 2005 and I always had numerous websites. But I didn’t get into having an active blog until 2007. I created my first real blog at that time.

Full Tilt Blogging - How long has your blog been going? Do you have other blogs or websites?
Holly Mann - Since 2007. I have at least a dozen other websites/blogs that I manage and update regularly. A list of my most regularly updated websites is available here:

Holly Mann - Yes. I have been working from home full-time since 2005.

Full Tilt Blogging - What are the main ways you monetize the traffic from your blog?
Holly Mann - I monetize the blog traffic through occasionally promoting products as an affiliate. In general, the type of traffic that my blog receives is from people who are interested in making money online. I also have my own book and I promote it on my blog. The blog provides readers with free information, tips and strategies to making money online; and many visitors also buy my book for further guidance. I also monetize my blog through Google Adsense ads that I put on posts.

Full Tilt Blogging - What is the best money maker you have discovered online?
Holly Mann - In general, affiliate marketing is the most profitable venture online to get into. If you have the patience to do the research, write articles and fully optimize a website - you can make a lot of money with affiliate marketing. It’s lucrative because it does not require that you have your own product, have inventory or sell anything. It just requires a lot of dedication to create a website to draw in the targeted traffic, then promote someone’s else product and receive an income off of it. Any affiliate program which offers residual income for the lifetime of the customer, like a paid monthly membership, is the way to go! That way you create a sustainable, residual income with it.

Full Tilt Blogging - What made you think up the ‘honesty’ tag line to describe your blog & book?
Holly Mann - I was inspired to create an honest brand because I believe in honest methods to making money online. Every single sales page and sales pitch about working from home & their products that were supposed to help you learn how to - were just the opposite. The majority of them were scams. I wanted my book, “Honest Riches,” to be a leader in the field of Internet Marketing, due to the fact that is was the real deal and provided legit methods to making money online. My blog “Honest Holly,” was something that my friend Davin came up with. I thought it was catchy and would work well for my main business blog.

Full Tilt Blogging - What one piece of advice would you give to new bloggers wanting to start making money from blogging?
Holly Mann - If you want to make money from blogging, you need to be continually (at least several times a week, if not more frequently) updating your blog with fresh content. Also, make sure your URLs are search engine friendly. If you are using Wordpress for your blogging platform, the All In One SEO plugin will be the most important plugin on your website. It helps you to create search-engine-friendly URLs for all your posts and pages, so your site receives the maximum amount of targeted free traffic.

Holly Mann - I prefer to use Wordpress - with the All In One SEO Plugin and the Google XML Sitemaps plugin. I also use Twitter (@HollyMann)to keep things social online and to continually keep people informed about what I am doing, with my business and personal life.
