Anyone out there with a brick & mortar business along with their Website will want to know how to get thier business on Google Maps. If you do a Google search for local keywords, many times the results comes back with a Google Map on the Search Engine Results Page (SERP), and that map lists a few businesses along with their phone number right on the SERP and above the webpage results. A good Google Map listing for your brick & mortar business can be hugely valuable.

Anyone with a physical location can get their business listed on Google Maps, check out this article (linked below) which shows you how you can get your business added to Google Maps. Who knows, you may be in an uncompetitive area where you can get on that first page of search results through this little trick! For some hard keywords it is really hard to get on the first page of the SERP, a Google Map listing could have the same effect though, & make your phone ring with good leads.

Anyone out there have any luck in Google Map listings showing up on a valuable SERP? Let us know in the comments how you did it, especially if you got there differently than the tips in this article linked to below that I recently stumbled upon.
