Blogging is hard work, keeping your blog fresh with a steady flow of content is usually at the top of every blogger’s ‘to-do’ list. I have read a handful of articles over the years talking about this, and ways to deal with it, and get past writer’s block. I think making lists, and being organized by writing down lots of thoughts (even if they are not big enough to be an article yet) is the way to go. I usually write posts from things I wrote down on my big list of topics & ideas, which I consistently add to during brainstorming sessions. But eventually the next challenge arises…actually writing the posts after you have decided what to write about.

Writing blog posts quickly and efficiently is another constraint to your blogs success because of your limited time (or money if you have others writing for you). I recently found this article which teaches you to write a post in 20 minutes or less. I have found it to be pretty good advice, and I agree with most of it. The site this is from, Copyblogger, is great too, if you have not read it before you should check out some of the other posts, this guy knows his stuff when it comes to copywriting!

Coming up with a long list of topics to write about is one big challenge to bloggers, then cranking out the posts is another challenge…What is your next biggest task you have other than content creation? I would say getting the posts distributed or marketed, what do you think, let us know in the comments?
