Want a free corvette?
Russell Brunson is giving one away, but that’s not really what I am writing about today. (Though if you haven’t signed up for his free training you need to right now–did I mention it’s free?)
Are you back? Great. Now back to our question: Do you want a free corvette?
True story:
John Locke (not the one from “Lost“) is a real estate investor. He found a cute house he knew he could flip at a profit. The house was priced below market and it was in perfect shape. In fact, it was only one year old.
The seller was willing to part with the property for $15,000.00 down and no qualifying.
But John had a problem: He had no money. The only way he could buy the house and profit from it was to make an offer “subject to” him being able to sell it. He was hoping/planning to find a buyer and do a double closing, using the buyer he found to come up with the down payment for him.
And he wanted to put a little cash in his pocket at closing (Christmas was coming…)
So he went down to a friend’s used car lot and asked if he had any “sexy” sports cars for sale. His friend told him he had a great ‘84 Corvette he could let John have for $3,500.00. So he made the “Subject To” offer on the house and prepared to buy and sell the house all in one motion.
John wrote this ad:
$20K down – No Qualifying
4bd, 3ba, 2800sq.ft., 3 car gar.
1 year new, close to shopping, etc.
FREE CORVETTE W/Purchase
Call owner 555-1212
Within a few weeks he not only had a buyer, he had put $1,500.00 cash in his pocket ($20,000 down - $15,000 to the seller - $3,500 for the Corvette.)
Miraculous? No. But imagine he wasn’t giving away a sports car with the purchase–how much attention would his offer have received?
The same is true for your products. Create bonuses that grab attention and you will make more sales.
Here’s an example:
I will give you a copy of the exact plan that made me my first $100,000.00 online–it’s so simple anyone can do it. Just visit here now for details.
Do it now. It will make you money.

5I just read in a Toronto, Canada newspaper this morning that a real estate company here is offering a free car to anyone who buys a house from them.
… although it’s a KIA instead of a Corvette.
BTW, where can you get a house for $15K these days in the States? It’s strange to me that houses are so incredibly cheap in the US compared to Canada (based on this article and my many viewings of ‘flip this house’ types of TV shows) - and yet there’s a foreclosure and pricing crisis there, whereas Canada has essentially escaped that problem so far.

6Hey Steve,
There are plenty of houses available in terrible neighborhoods for almost nothing–I have seen many deserted houses in Detroit for less than $1,000.
But the house in the story was for $15,000 DOWN, with a non-qualifying mortgage covering the rest. That used to be pretty commonplace here in the states, but non-qualifying mortgages are pretty rare unless the seller is carrying the paper.
