You’ve probably heard it said:

“Give People What They Need”

and you’ll make a mint.

But here’s the shocking reality if you want to succeed: Don’t give people what they need…

“Give Them What They WANT”

There is a huge difference.

With discretionary income most people tend to buy products and services they WANT rather than simply buying what they need.

“Selling to a WANT is Easy”

When we sell to a “want” in our prospects mind, we have already won half the battle–the prospect already wants our product. All we have to do is convince him to buy the product from us rather than from someone else.

When we are trying to sell a product we believe is good for our prospect–one we believe our prospect needs but does not yet want–we have the uphill battle of first convincing them they NEED the product.

“The Best Product: Needed and Wanted”

The best product to sell is one that your prospect truly needs and one he also wants. This is the easiest product to sell.

“What Do Your Visitors Want?”

You have visitors to your blog or website right now, what do they want? Are any of the things they want something they also need? Can you provide that product?

If you can, you will be successful.

“But What If You Don’t Know?”

What can you do if you don’t know what people in your target niche want? Simple: Ask them. Using a tool like Survey Monkey you can set up a simple set of questions to ask them what they want.

Better yet, ask them what products and services they have purchased in the past six months in your target niche–that is the best way to predict what they will purchase in the future.

So if you want to make money blogging, here’s one crucial key: Don’t give people what they need, give them what they want.

Try it, it will make you money.
