Here’s a simple Aweber.com tip that will help you make money blogging. As you read this you will realize just how easy it is to add custom fields to your Aweber.com emails to increase response and profits.
For most people’s lists all they collect are the first name and email address–those standard fields.
But if you want to boost response and profits, you can easily use custom fields.
You would simply go to your Aweber.com dashboard, click on “List Settings” and “Custom Fields” and add three new fields: CarMake, CarModel and CarYear. Once you add those custom fields you can them use them when you create a form for your visitors to fill out on your site.
When you send out an email to your list, you can not only personalize their email with their name, you can also add their car information. Or you can sort your email list according to the age of their car–sending one message to all those with cars manufactured before 1950 and another message to those whose cars were manufactured after. This allows you to send highly targeted offers.
For example, you can add a birth-year to their name and email address so you can not only know the actual age of your subscribers, but you can also send offers only to the groups most likely to respond to them.
