Yesterday I started you on a path to creating the most profitable month you have yet to experience. In truth: As you read this you will realize when you follow this plan month after month you will suddenly make more money each month–each month you set a new profit record.

Here are the steps you need to take.


“Give People a Reason to Subscribe”

Getting subscribers is not about just begging and pleading, it is about providing value. You have to give people who visit your site compelling reasons to sign up for your list.

You can provide them with a free download with a compelling “hook”–a title that draws them in and makes them curious. You can offer them a chance to get something in a free contest. You can give them access to a “subscribers only” post. You can allow them to sit in on a “subscribers only” teleseminar. You can give them a tangible freebie (I’ve given away free printed reports and pocket knives in the past.)

But here’s the key: It has to be something that will appeal to your target market.


“Give Them a Reason to Tell Others”

This is the real difference between a promotion that gets you 100 subscribers and a promotion that gets 1,000.

If you can give your subscribers not only a reason to subscribe, but a reason to tell others, you’ve just put your promotion into overdrive.


“Think About Your Promo This Way…”

You ask 100 people to subscribe. They do. Then 10% of those people tell 50 people each to subscribe. They do–adding 500 more for a total of 600. Then 10% of those 500 people tell 25 each to subscribe and they do–adding 1,250 more.

The cycle just keeps going on.


“Now, Put These Ideas to Work”

Come up with a compelling give away or other subscribe incentive. Launch it. It will make you money.
