I have served “jury duty” a half-dozen times. Most often it involves showing up at the courthouse a few times a week, waiting around for an hour, then going home.
Not so yesterday.
Yesterday I was picked for a jury and it just happened to be one of the rare two-day trials.
So if I owe you an email or am behind in commenting back to your comment, be patient. I’ll get there soon.

3Actually I have 2 more months left. It’s averaging about 3 days per week, but most days it is an hour or so.
It was pretty strange for it to be two full days. But it was an important case–though pretty disturbing.
