<description>Facebook leads convert well. When someone adds you as a friend, I send them a personal email introducing my business and asking them (explicitly as in literally) to participate. 60% plus do.

The key is to check member profiles before you send that email. You must be able to determine at what level of sophistication your business stands. Mind you, this has nothing to do with the profitability of your business. My business makes me on average $100k plus per year, but I do not send an invite to a member who is selling high end software. The perception aspect alone will kill any chances of a favorable feedback.

My approach works for me. Because, I educate my members in changing their attitude regarding what they perceive and how they perceive.

The moment you think you know about something before you attempted it, you shot your chances in being successful or at the very least - profitable.

Hope that helps!
