There are a couple of interesting posts on tools that might help you today. However, although tools can help you, blogging is still about content and connecting with your readers, which is why I picked the following as the must read post of the day.
Pick of the Day - The Must Read Blog Post
John Chow runs one of the most famous make money online blogs on the internet. However, I haven’t really found a worthwhile post there now for a couple of weeks. That changed today. Check it out.

If you believe that every single visitor to your site counts, you will want to ensure that google is properly indexing the images on your site. This article explains how to do this, and what to do if they’re not.

It looks like BANS (Build A Niche Store) has caught Zac Johnson’s eye. He is planning on testing it out, and will be blogging about it in the future. If you’ve ever thought about becoming an E-Bay affiliate, it’s worth a read.

Caroline Middlebrook has an interesting post on the whole recent ‘Joel Comm’ controversy. She actually has an extensive internet marketing background, and she talks about her experience with some of the shady tactics that Joel tried to use. It’s worth a look if you want to understand a bit of the dark side of the MMO universe.

If you’ve been running a blog, even for a short time, I’m sure you’re familiar with the problem with SPAM in your comments section. This post talks about a way to fight back. Man, do I hate SPAM …
Lisa has a post on a great web based image editor she found. An image can really add a bit of spice to any blog post. If you want to edit an image, but a program like photoshop scares you, this tool is worth checking out.

1These summaries are the reason I subscribed to this website in the first place. I think they’re a FANTASTIC idea!!!
I just noticed the links are hanging out into the sidebar for some reason.

3Nice catch on Caroline’s article. That whole mess with Joel was really goofy. I don’t know Joel, but people who do tell me he is an OK guy. I hope that he made an honest mistake, and I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

4Hey Mark,
At this point, it’s really hard to say… I’ll go out on a limb and say that. However, being a proud owner of most of his products, I can say this with confidence… everything I have purchased or received from Joel has helped me significantly. The best product I own is The Secret Classroom.

6Reading this summary by Caroline brought home some truths of what many of us experience in the internet. I have just discovered Caroline Middlebrook and I feel she is writing about me and m internet experiences.
Thanks David for including her in your summary.
One would think that these so called Gurus should by now be using more honest techniques and tactics. What a shame that they are still trying to hoodwink their customers.
When I see the so called gurus resulting to these shady tactics, it leaves me wondering if there is a truly honest way to make money online?
