Have you ever been seduced? Ever seduced someone else?
If you have, you’ve already gotten some insight into leadblogging.
Seduction is all about creating and cultivating desire. (I ought to know, I wrote a book on it.)

In the art of seduction you start out by hinting at a sexual encounter to someone who is attracted to you, continue by revealing teasing and tantalizing promises of what is to come, ending finally with overtly, unmistakable sexual signals.
Getting someone to subscribe to your blog via RSS or email is exactly the same process—though maybe slightly less fulfilling!
There Isn’t Any Seduction without Attraction
You can’t seduce someone who isn’t interested in you. By the same token, you can’t get someone to subscribe who has zero interest in your blog niche. But if they ARE interested then…
Seduction Begins with a HINT of What Is to Come
Seduction is about hinting at what is hidden beneath your clothes and what sexual skills you posses. By the same token, you need to begin seducing your visitors by telling them bits and pieces of what you offer to subscribers. How? Here are some ideas:
Give them a few “teaser” lines telling them some of the things they will receive when they subscribe. This gets the desire stirred up. Once it is sufficiently stirred, they’ll join your list.
Seduction is Completed by an Overt Offer
Some of us are clueless when it comes to romance. That’s why seduction usually culminates in the seductress (or “seducer”) making an overt offer: “I want to sleep with you.”
By the same token your readers need to be told what you want them to do: Subscribe. Telling people in an active way to subscribe will produce as much as 20 times more subscribers.
And the better you tell them, the more subscribers you will have.
Want to get more subscribers? Try seducing them with leadblogging - it will make you money.

1I think this is the sexiest internet post I’ve ever read on a blog about blogging, lol. You certainly have a unique take on things, and I really appreciate it. I’m going to have to try some of your seduction techniques in the future.

2Thanks for the comment Dave. And I try to be unique–after all, the only reason to be in business is to offer something no one else is offering.
