I finally cleared my plate so I can actually pursue this blog for a while. Inspired by this post and the movie 300, I decided to take from today until April 1st (21 days) to get to enough feed readers and/or subscribers to have this puppy start making a profit.

I want to do this for two primary reasons:

  1. I want to get this blog jump-started to profit
  2. I want to show you it can be done so you will be inspired to do it as well

Here is the goal:

By April 1st I will have
A consistent 1 day FeedBurner of 300 or more as well as
A double opt-in email list of at least 300 active subscribers

To keep you posted I will do a progress post every day or so to let you know my numbers as well as what marketing I am doing each day to get there. I’ll give you the details so you can duplicate them yourself.

Just so you know I’m not sandbagging, here are my current stats:

When I meet my goal by April 1st I will not only give myself a pat on the back, but I will give every RSS or email subscriber on my list some cool special gift. (I haven’t decided what yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as I decide.)
